"Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them and reveal to them the
abundance of peace and truth." - Jeremiah 33:6

Here is a recap of ministry in the RGV thus far in 2024:

South Texas Ministry: Stephen made a subtle transition this year by cutting back seeing patients at COLM to only 2 days a week in order to focus on staff training in Christ centered care. This month we will celebrate the first fruits of this training: 3 volunteers graduate from COLM Clinician Assistant Training. It still feels like more chaos in clinic than last year due to the amount of staff and volunteer   training taking place. We hopefully anticipate more trained staff who will, in turn, train others in how to care for patients and other volunteers as Jesus would. Stephen still visits patients at their homes on a regular basis. He is also teaching Middle School and Highschool English helping Alla with the administration of a new hybrid home school program we started this summer:

Family of Faith Academy. Alla serves as the head school administrator on Tuesdays and Thursdays at a school of 27 students ranging from kindergarten through high school. She also serves as a counselor/encourager for COLM volunteers while cleaning and organizing of the supply room. Geoffrey volunteers at COLM when he can but spends most of his time at the Math and Science Academy studying (his tough courses this year are Calculus 2 and Chemistry). Gabriel continues in playing the violin and helping out weekly as a (now) Clinician Assistant at COLM. Stephen also volunteers at COLM and plays the violin. COLM prepares to welcome at least 2 medical mission teams to the RGV this coming spring.

Foreign Mission:Jamaica: Stephen, Alla, & Stephen Lucas plan for the Jamaica medical mission and evangelism this March 2025. Please keep our preparations in prayer. We will be ministering in a different area of the island this year. Our hope is that as we concentrate on recruiting medical assistants from the local church in this new region, we will eventually establish a self sustaining Jamaican medical ministry which will bring forth God’s kingdom using Christ-centered healthcare. Stephen has had more contact with Jamaicans throughout the year via WhatsApp to check on their health and plan for bringing medications.Ukraine/Russia: Alla continues to minister via follow up phone conversations to slavic immigrants who came through the Mexican border earlier this year. The seeds of faith in Christ which were planted while in Harlingen are watered now as these immigrants are settled in California and other parts of the US. We also have learned from the Ukraine that the volunteer construction team continue to repair roofs for families in the war zone. Part of the funding we sent this year also helps send food to soldiers on the front lines. One of our brothers, Andrei, is now working as an army chaplain to help minister to the many troops who struggle to find solace and spiritual sustenance in a war that has continued for over 2,5 years now.

We are grateful for the many ways you encourage our ministry: prayers, uplifting words, giving. We are always delighted to hear from you and always welcome visitors. We look forward to hearing from you and pray God’s blessing over you this summer.

Blessings in Christ,

Stephen & Alla Robinson
