Roel Martinez

Hello, my name is Roel Martinez, and God has used many experiences in my life to teach me perseverance, faith, and the importance of serving others. I have been living with Multiple Sclerosis since 2021, a journey that has challenged me physically but has also strengthened my trust in God and deepened my appreciation for each day He gives me.
Over the past two years, I have had the privilege of serving with Culture of Life Ministries. Through volunteering at clinics, outreach events, and other ministry opportunities, I have witnessed God’s love at work in the lives of those we serve. Being able to help meet both physical and spiritual needs in our community has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.
God has used my journey with Multiple Sclerosis to shape my character and deepen my faith. What began as a challenge became an opportunity to grow in discipline, gratitude, and trust in Him. Through running, fitness, and intentional lifestyle changes, I have sought to be a faithful steward of the body He has given me. Along the way, I have learned that perseverance, faith, and obedience are not built overnight, but through countless small decisions made day after day in reliance on God’s strength.
My desire is to continue serving wherever God calls me, encouraging others through both my testimony and my actions. Whether through ministry, volunteer work, or everyday interactions, I hope to reflect Christ’s love and compassion to those around me. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve with Culture of Life Ministries as an Agape Missionary, and I look forward to seeing how God continues to work in my life and through this ministry.
Eric Johnson

Hello, I am Eric Johnson, and God took a long time to prepare me for mission service at Culture of Life. I grew up in MN and joined the Army with plans to retire from it. When I broke my back 5 yrs in and everything I had planned fell apart. I surrendered to God again, trying to trust in Him fully. In 2001 I met and married Donna Keizer. After she finished graduate school as a FNP we started moving every 3-5 yrs for her job. I graduated with a BS in elementary education in 1995, worked as a contractor for Mayo Clinic for 12 yrs, did the mr mom thing as i supported Donna's career as a provider, I worked at a Catholic School, a mental health/ substance abuse facility, got my black belt in ABKA karate, worked at a maximum security prison. I held many positions at the churches we attended and started grad school for a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis on Church Leadership but did not complete it. We moved to the Valley for my wife’s health in Oct 2021 and a few months after getting here God drew me to Culture of Life and I have been here ever since.
